Poultry

All our poultry is fed a corn and soy free ration. they are pastured in Salatin style “tractors” to keep the in the sunshine, on fresh grass, and safe from predators. All processing is done on site in small batches to ensure sanitary product. After plucking and evisceration, the carcasses are air chilled in a digitally controlled and monitored cooler at 28 to 34 degrees for 4 to 6 hours before final cutting and packaging for market. To accommodate online purchase of poultry sold by the lb just order 1 pound per desired package and we will bill the difference or issue the refund accordingly. Our pieces come in packs per bird. For example: boneless skinless white meat comes in a 2 breast pack weighing between 1.5 and 2.5 lbs. To order 1 package select 1 lb. If the current packs are 2 lbs. you’ll be notified and upon delivery or pick up we bill the difference. Since we are the farmer and the butcher, we offer our poultry cut any way you like. You only need to make your request when you place your order. Our usual slaughter day is Thursday or Friday so fresh poultry requests need to be confirmed Wednesday evening.
